Sunday Ski School
Join the Bemidji Area XC Ski Club’s 34th Annual Sunday Ski School!
Get ready to hit the trails with our exciting ski school, starting on Sunday, January 4th, for ages 3 and up! Enjoy more fun-filled lessons on January 11th and 18th. Don’t miss the thrilling Sons of Norway children’s race and family meal on January 25th. This is a great opportunity to embrace the joy of skiing and make the most of Minnesota’s beautiful winters with over 60 miles of groomed trails in the Bemidji area! Secure your spot now with pre-registration, opening on November 21st.
Registration:
- Pre-registration is required
- Registration opens Nov. 21.
Skiing Schedule:
- Every Sunday from 1-3 p.m. (weather permitting*)
- Indoor activities will be arranged if it gets too chilly.
- Dress for the weather and be ready for an adventure!
Equipment:
- Classical ski equipment is available at no cost for both children and adults.
- Bring your own gear if preferred, as our supply is limited.
- Skate Skiing students must have their own equipment.
- Begins at 12:30 p.m. on January 4th at the Bemidji Middle School cafeteria.
- Arrive by 12:30 p.m. if you need equipment.
Program Details:

*Cancellation Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class when we feel it is in the best interest and safety of the participants. We will usually follow the schedule unless 1) the air temperature is -10° F or below 2) the wind chill factor is -20° F or below or 3) unusually warm temperature has made safe skiing impossible.
